Bath & Body Tray - my attempt

I was surfing the artwork BB on the CTMH website today and saw the cutest little tray posted by Carol Labuski. Carol got the recipe from LizzieAnne Designs and was kind enough to share it with me. I wanted to work on it right away, but went over to my friend, Faye's, to help her with an album for her grandson's teacher. School will be over before you know it and Faye took a bunch of photos at a tea party for the parents and grandparents of the 2nd grade class. I will go over again in the morning to help finish it up. I finally got started on this tray around 11:00. It took approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

I used Key To My Heart paper packet. Carol had mentioned that hers was not as sturdy as she would like it to be so knowing that up front I reinforced mine with chipboard. I really am pleased with how it turned out. I don't know what I am going to do with it. I suppose I could use it as a hostess gift for my next gathering.

It is almost 1 a.m. so I am off to bed.
Thanks for tuning in.

  1. This looks more like a successful project an a mere attempt, my dear. It's beautiful!! If I can ask, what are the dimensions? I had to go back and look again. It's very, very cool!! Nice of you to help your friend with her album. I bet it was fun. Have a great weekend!

  2. Great job, Leslie! Love it! I have mine sitting on a table with door prize drawing slips in it for my Open House today. I'm thinking if anyone really admires it, perhaps I will give it to them as a prize. Thanks for the mention!

  4. So cute. It can also be used for the office and promote scrapbooking in offices/jobs. It would be good to place papers, projexts in porgress or supplies. Tisela Marrero
