something different - Mother's Day Cards
I needed to make some Mother's Day Cards for a friend at work. I wanted them to each be different. I am not sure how she will feel about them. If she doesn't like them I can make new ones.
The first one is an easel card. I used Key to my Heart Paper from Close to my Heart. I got it put together and thought the upper left corner was bare so I added the butterfly. If I had known I was going to need something I would have put the flower in that corner and have the butterfly going toward the flower and not away from it. Oh well!
The second card is a trifold card using Bella Paper.
The third is a spring card and I used Veranda paper, with the So Sweet stamp set and Say it in Style for the sentiment.
I am working on an anniversary gift for dh. Tomorrow is our 35th!
I have lots of work to do this afternoon and evening so I can't stay online and play. Just had to take a quick break.
Thanks for tuning in.

This is one of my favorite Mother's Day poems from http://www.quotes-and-poems.com
A Wonderful Mother
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old.
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold.
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see.
God made that wonderful mother.
And he gave that dear mother to me.
