Door Prize

I made one of these Altoids tin albums the other day using Animal Cookies paper and was quite pleased with the results and I needed a door prize for a gathering so I thought this would be nice. I used the papers from the Bella pack and the clear plastic shapes from last quarter's Connection Club rewards. It is a great way to show off a paper pack. There are 18 places to put papers so you can use the fronts and backs of the papers in a pack as well as the cardstock.
Do most consultants pack several days in advance for a gathering? I have been thinking about it for days and trying to remember all the different items I want to take to share and show. I just don't want to have to pack up my entire scrap room and overwhelm everyone.
Back to the scraproom. Thanks for tuning in.

  2. This is really neat! As for packing...I've never had a gathering, but for workshops, I try to pack my supplies as I use them, so I don't forget what all I used on a project.

  3. Leslie,

Great door prize - someone will be very lucky!
As for packing - I always make a list; the project (I usually have something everyone will be making so they get hands-on), the inks, paper pre-cut, blocks, and stamps! I take a demo-board of a current stamp set, catalogs and order forms. I dont take a lot of other things because it isn't like I'm moving in with the hostess!

To be perfectly honest, most of the time "gatherings" are held at my house. It makes it a LOT easier for me and the hostess can still bring the treats. I have extra tables and know how to set them up so I can still circulate in the room.

    Hope that helps!
