more birthday cards
I had more cards to make today and this is what I came up with. Stamp sets used were Aspirations for the tree branch and flowers, surprise for the birthday girl, gracious greetings and It's your day. I didn't have the color cardstock I wanted to use so I had to color some using the sunkiss yellow and lilac mist stamp pads. I just rubbed the color on until the sheet was completely covered. This method makes the cardstock weak so I have to be careful when cutting it. I used some paper out of the Daydream paper pack for the background and bases. I colored in the skin using a copic marker, the balloons I colored in using CTMH markers and a white gel pen.
Thanks for tuning in.

ReplyDeleteAll of them are great!
ReplyDeleteI think the plant that you discribed is an Althea or Rose of Sharron. And yes they come in purple! Thanks for the comments, and the stamp camp project is great!
I'm loving them all, dahling! I can't believe you colored the cardstock - it looks great!!!! I haven't been able to post here, but I've been drooling over your work!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for Welcoming me to my blogspot! You have some wonderful cards! I have been scrapping for 8 years but I am new to CTMH so I only have a small collection of stamps. I've never used stamps before in my scrapbooks, but I'm excited to learn how!
