Dragon Slayer
My oldest daughter has a real dislike, fear or hatred for spiders. Her husband, takes care of them for her so she calls him her dragon slayer. She was telling me about one dropping down by her card door as she was trying to get into it the other night as she was leaving a restaurant. She was standing there looking at it with terror in her eyes when her husband came around the corner in his car. He could tell just by looking at her that there was a spider in the vicinity so he found it and got it away from her car. I remembered that I had just downloaded this image from Dustin Pike's website. I thought I would make him a card, thanking him for being our little girl's dragon slayer. Any excuse to make a card, right? I really need to get some different green copics.
Hope your weekend has been all that you wanted it to be. Have a great week.
Thanks for tuning in.

Ahhh, to have a kindly dragon-slayer around - that would be nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card!
I am loving this Leslie!
ReplyDeleteOnce you get started down the Copic road, it is a slippery slope ha ha! Always I need more reds, greens, yellows, the list goes on!
Wow, Leslie, you're creating fantastic cards with those Copics! I hate spiders too, and they're rampant here in the Fall. Fortunately my DH is a wonderful slayer of all those little critters.
ReplyDeleteThis dragon is too cute to slay. Love your copic work.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute card! you did an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteHillarious! My daughter has the same irrational fear. I guess I avoided that by having my irrational fear be of snakes! Love your cute dragon!
ReplyDeleteI love this card, I also love spiders! Beth
