Finding JOY
Finding Joy! I believe one of my joy's in life is creating art. Another is the comments that come from creating art. This may look vaguely familiar as I posted one like it using the evensong paper a few days ago. I couldn't help myself. When I like something I tend to make several. I notice I do that at the grocery store, I tend to buy two of everything, so when I use one up I have a spare.
This will probably be one of the goodies I use for my pay it forwards. I used ribbon to tie the coasters together this time because dealing with hinges and brads was too much for me at the time. This was much easier to make with punching holes using the Big Bite.
I hope you can see it clearly enough. I had to get farther away to fit it all in the camera. I took some closeups also, but will have to wait until later to post them. Got an appointment at 11:00.
Thanks for tuning in.

This one is beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I have always wanted to make one of these but the idea of the hinges scared me a little. Nice to see it can be done with ribbons :)
ReplyDeleteGosh I think I like this one even better than the first one you posted. They are both gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really like your coaster project. You always do such a nice job, what a nice way to spread your cheer. I think you are funny that you do things in two, have you noticed I also do the same even when I shop. By the way I don't have two rooms, just my craft area and some tables in the basement when extra people come over. You will be surprised when you see the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love variations on a theme! I really the the blues1 Beth
