Floating Frame Cards
Hello all! I am back again and will do better about posting going forward.
Today I am posting Floating Frame Cards. This is a technique where I covered a card front size cardstock with images, (I used butterflies from Stampin' Up! Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper) then using Press & Seal I picked up the images. (The P&S is a lot like a Post it, holding everything in place, but easily removable, once I had the images on the P&S I cut out the center section, making a frame and center sections and attached Dimensionals to each image on both then adhered to the card fronts. Once adhered I removed the Press & Seal from the front of the images and Viola, a floating frame card and floating center card. There are You Tube videos showing this technique.
I placed the completed cards on a Highland Heather Background for the photos so they didn't blend into the desktop. These really aren't the best photos - I'm sorry about that.
I am going to look into better photography for future shots.
Since it has been so long since my last post I have quite a few images I can share here.
Check back for more beautiful cards and 3D items using Stampin' Up! products.
Thanks for tuning in!
