sympathy card for friend
A family that I have been friends with for over twenty years has lost a loved one. My friends, Robin and Carl, lost Carl's mother yesterday. She was in her 80s and had outlived her husband by about 10 years. I am sure she is happy to be reunited with him and to be at home with our Lord. Robin and I had our two oldest children when we met. Ash & Holly were three, Casey & Ian were newborns, along came Alec and Jillian. That's when I said enough, but Robin added one more to her happy family. Our six children were like brothers and sisters. We went on vacations together, spent all our free time together. Our children still think of them as Aunt Robin and Uncle Carl. Anyway I knew I wanted to make a card to send to them and this is what I came up with. I used Intrinsic Backgrounds, For Every Occasion, and Inspiration stamp sets. I cannot remember where I got this idea first. I save so many cards on my computer that after a while I have to download them to a zip drive and then I just get too lazy to go back and look up the previous recipes and ideas.
I have another card to share tonight so tune in for another one.
